Premium quality: this 100% natural oil is sourced from sustainable wild salmon fishing in Alaska. It is obtained from the first mechanical pressing, without any further heat input (cold pressing). Thanks to the clean waters near the poles, this oil is only filtered, not refined or deodorised. Note that the Omega-3 fatty acid content of this salmon oil can be up to 10 times higher than the Omega-6 fatty acid content.
The orange colour of the oil comes from the shells of the crustaceans that serve as food for wild salmon. Lumps and turbidity are caused by waxes typical of unrefined oil.
