Omega 3 Oil
Made with farmed salmon and wild fish (no additives).
This combination of oils guarantees very high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, at least 30%. Today, pure oils from farmed salmon do not usually contain such a high level of omega-3 fatty acids.
The oil is very pure and has a practically neutral flavour. This minimises the presence of heavy metalsand other pollutants from the sea as much as possible.
It is recommended during pregnancy and while rearing puppies.
Improves coat and skin, e.g. for itching or dandruff.
Due to the high content of omega-3 fatty acids, it also has a positive effect on the metabolism, allergies and inflammatory processes, like joint diseases, for instance.
Omega-3 fatty acids also strengthen the immune system.
Improved cardiac function has also been demonstrated in many studies.
Packaged in a dark glass bottle to protect the nutrients from the damaging effect of light.
Once opened, the oil should be stored in the fridge and used within 8 weeks. Stored in a cool place, the natural ingredients may sink to the bottom and make the oil appear milky or greasy. This doesn’t affect the quality! In a warm environment, the oil will become clear again.
Available in 90 ml or 500 ml.
Always mix the oil with food.
Recommended dose example:
Regularly or alternating with other oils, for example.
Dogs up to 20 kg - 1/2 teaspoon per day
Dogs over 20 kg - 1 teaspoon per day
Dogs over 40 kg - 2 teaspoons per day
Dogs over 60 kg - 4 teaspoons per day
The need for polyunsaturated fatty acids depends on size, age and activity level as well as fat content of other foods. It’s important to observe the condition of your dog or cat and adjust the amount given accordingly; if the coat is dull, flaky or tends to clump, you can increase the dose.
